The SMUS Rugby Summer Camp and Gainline Sport Coaching have a unique symbiotic partnership. This is a high-performance residential camp for youth athletes, hosted at St. Michaels University School (SMUS) in Victoria.

• Dates: August 10th – August 14th (Overnight players will arrive on August 9th)

• Ages: 13–17 years old

• Format: Co-ed (Boys and Girls)

• English Level: Upper Intermediate

• Skill Level: All levels

• Cost: CA$500 Daily Drop In / CA$1,200 (Domestic Overnight) / CA$1,700 (International Overnight)

• The Experience:

  • "Games-Based" Approach: Unlike traditional camps that rely on repetitive drills, this camp focuses on "Game Sense." Players spend most of their time playing modified games designed to improve decision-making and rugby IQ.

  • University Prep: Because it is an overnight camp using SMUS boarding facilities, it mimics a university varsity environment. Players manage their own schedules, recovery, and meals.

  • Coaching Ratio: Because of the partnership with Gainline (see below), the player-to-coach ratio is exceptionally high (often 3:1), meaning players get constant, individualized feedback.
